Berlin 002

Köpenick & Schöneweide.

Köpenick is a picturesque district in the southeastern part of Berlin, known for its idyllic location by the water and its historic old town. The district has a rich history that dates back to the Middle Ages and is famous for Köpenick Palace as well as the legendary story of the “Captain of Köpenick.”
In my pictures, you can see the Köpenick Town Hall and Köpenick Palace, among other sights.

Schöneweide is a vibrant neighborhood in the Berlin district of Treptow-Köpenick, known for its industrial past and emerging creative scene. The area is beautifully situated along the banks of the Spree River and offers numerous recreational opportunities, including parks and waterways that invite relaxation and rejuvenation.
In my photos, the focus is mainly on Volkspark Wuhlheide.
